“ Maximus (my Yorkie baby) had an emergency spa day at PetSmart today. So I had some time to kill. I did some errands and was getting hungry. And of course I thought of my favorite Asian-American buffet the "Dynasty Buffet", in Davenport, Iowa. I love the food here. Huge selection, SO MANY CHOICES, and ALL YOU CAN EAT!! So you'll see my choices with the attached pictures along with the descriptions because these were my cravings for the day and I couldn't eat that much for lunch. There is a build your own stir fry similar concept as HuHot has or hibachi style. You can pick your items and take it to the chef and it's prep right there for you! Which is a nice option for picky eaters who complain too much that their food is not hot or not fresh. Made-to-order sushi. Pick your items and a sushi chef makes it for you. Everything is fresh and on ice. Vegetarian options; Plenty of items without meat. Sushi bar had vegetarian options and 2 cold fruits, and salad bars, 8 different flavors of dip-your-own ice cream, Dessert Bars has everything you can expect. And kids have so many options to choose from as well. I saw lots of negative reviews. I haven't had a bad experience yet. So, if you're nearby, check it out, and try it once and be your own judge. ”
“ I'm not going to lie... I seen some scary reviews for this place and it almost swayed me from trying it for the first time. I've moved away from the QC since 2004. I'm working in the area and an avid Chinese restaurant fan. Gave the place an honest shot. I didn't see or experience any of the problems I've read about in Yelp, Google, or Facebook reviews. No bugs, everything I went for was fresh and as tasty as could be expected, plates cups and silverware appeared clean. The only issue was it was a tad spendy, but with this economy I suppose that is to be expected. I'm not going to see 2004 prices obviously. It was $19.58 for a Monday evening dinner spot with a soda My server was on the ball with keeping the drinks topped off until the check came. She kept the used plates moving off the table as they appeared. I tipped her accordingly (more than I would for a typical buffet experience ,greater than 15% I enjoyed it to be honest and I would go back. It would have to be a once-in-awhile treat for me personally. ”
“ Stopped in while I was working in the area. I was quickly seated. The selection for sushi was good. I hate buffets with cheap rolls so I was very glad to see they are not like that. I prefer sashimi and some rolls had fresh tuna or salmon. The bbq ribs were soft and easy to eat. They definitely cooked it right! Some of the regular dishes that were delicious: -crab Rangoon -general tsao chicken -peanut chicken I like the shrimp with stuffing. I haven't had it anywhere else. They also have Thai chicken which I haven't seen before either. It was also good. The desserts were the same as usual. Yummy little cakes, cream puffs, ice cream etc. I would definitely eat here again ”
